Grex Scruples Item 37: Plagiarism (#2) ......... 8-{)>
Entered by davel on Sun Jul 17 05:42:39 UTC 1994:

You are reading the casuistry conference on a local BBS. As you read one
of the items, you recognize that it is based closely on a work of
fiction or a movie which you're familiar with, though no acknowledgement
has been made. What action do you take?

I would ask if I'd possibly seen the work somewhere else.

I'd probably say 'Isn't it *strange* how some works have such a resemblance
(source)?'

Take no action, others in English and communication are far more astute than

Moan very loudly, until the computer lab admin asks you to leave. Then grind
