I'm moving to a new neighborhood and I am real unfamalier with the place. I'm moving because the police are pinpointing a major drug-bust on me, and I'll have to deal crack elsewhere. So I was wondering if any friends out there could help me find a suitable place to live. Won't you be my neighbor?

yes but only if you live on the other side of town drugs bring neighborhood values down but then again come be my neighbor I could use a rent reduction and maybe you could lend me a cup of snow and we could be real good neighbors (just kidding all where are these weirdos coming from anyway?)

So, lemme get this straight, the question is, how do you feel about drug dealers in your neighborhood? Drug dealers can be perfectly nice people except when it comes to bussiness. I know sales people who are the exact same way. So, how would you feel if a drug dealer came along and lived next to you? Or if you found out that a neighbor of yours that you've known for years was a drug dealer, and that is how s/he is supporting her/his family?
I don't think it's what my neighbor does for a living that would have me concerned as much as how his or her lifestyle touched on my home and my family. I can think of religious, environmental, or military fanatics which might bother me a whole lot more.

Off duty police officers often have loaded guns... and they can leagally get intoxiciated, by getting drunk... Many other home owners also have loaded guns around their homes too.. While it doesn't quite compare to people bringing guns into someones house, it is possible that your neighbor has a gun... Often times the deals aren't handled in the drug dealers home, they pick other places to meet and such.. would the fact that this person deals drugs to get his money, even if it didn't effect you in anyway change your veiwpoint about him? Would you let your children, go outside and play with their children?
