Forwarded message: Date: Wed, 5 Feb 1997 21:16:08 -0500 From: Phil Flora <philflora@webmovie.com> We are seeking writers and artists interested in helping create "movie-like" science fiction stories for the web. Each story is told in 13 weekly episodes of around 1,000 words each. Twenty still images play in a four frame strip above the text to illustrate each episode. Images can be color storyboards or still photos of actors on locations/sets. For my cyberpunk web-thriller "Generation War," I used actors on 3D sets created on a Pentium computer. "Generation War" has gotten great reviews in media all over the world. It has been both satisfying to create and lucrative. It is up to 39 episodes which are now in re-runs while I work on a new sci-fi webmovie about first contact. You can screen "GenWar" at www.webmovie.com/genwar/ WebMovie creators get 65% of every advertising dollar collected for ads displayed with their story. If your webmovie reaches the success of "Generation War," you could earn many thousands of dollars each year. Earnings from your webmovie may continue for years. More details can be found at www.webmovie.com The WebMovie site also contains a leading web index for film & video production services. Over 3,000 producers, directors, studio/television production executives and other production pros use it each week. The chances that your story could become a television show or movie are much increased by this exposure. Please pass on this notice to anyone you know who might be interested. If you are associated with a university or production facilitiy, please post this message where production pros, film students, artists and writers might see it. Thank you.
