-Bob's Campaign-
Yes! The title speaks true, I am starting another on-line campaign!
The setting will be a northern version of the generic AD&D setting, using
Celtic Mythos, etc. The method of rolling characters will be 3d6 arange as
you like, all normal AD&D races and classes exsepted. Proficiencys (both weapon
and non-weapon) are required. All clerics are of a specific deitie. Post your
characters here, so we can begin.
PS: Only one psionicist please

<orinoco is working on a ranger, and will be back later with the stats>
Good! Any other takers?
kain feels like rolling a character so he will Name=Dandin Truestrike Jr. Str=15 Dex=12 Con=17 Int=9 Wisdom=14 Cha=17 Class=paladin Level, bob, what level campaign is this? race=human alignment=lg Age, yet to be determined height, ditto eyes, blue hair, blond Saving throws, gotta know level first turning undead, ditto bonded mount, If my character is 4th level yet Name, Barashkor Int 7 AL N; AC 5 THAC0 15 #at 3 dmg 1d3/1d8/1d8 SZ L Known tricks stay until commanded to move <on command> Pull me off field of battle if character is unable to get up or unconcious And Gaurd duty while in camp, goes growls extremly loudly & wakes me up if Danger sighted Hp:40 In order to do my proficiancies I need my level other paladin abilities, <As listed in phb and paladin's handbook>
Level = 2
What levels should these characters be? Would you allow an only slightly non-legal Ranger/Thief? (non-legal only because Ranger/Thieves are not normally allowed, nothing wring with him...) Standard rules or character points?
Rules are standard exsept for magic, Level 2 as I told kain and no ranger/theifs.
Okay...then I'll just be a ranger....I'll roll hin up and enter him soon...
i'll make a character, but it might take me awhile...
what level, what races allowed, what restrictions?
I've almost got my character done. (It took less time than I thought...) He's a cleric, for there never seems to be many clerics around, especially when you need one. I just need to pick proficiencies and then I'm done. By the way, do you want us to post our characters here or mail them to you, Bob?
Dost thou allowest kits? I am wishing to be a Forest Runner kit (from the Complete Ranger's Handbook), if allowed to. I could mail you a description, if you wish.... Sorry to keep pestering you with questions....Is there a suitably evil power group or government in the locale of the campaign that my ranger could be against, as one of those is required by the kit? If not, I'll just be something else...
I am also thinking about joinging this campaign - perhaps of and on with my GMing. I'm thinking Human Druid .. .
Alright. 2nd level. Humans, Dwarfs, Elves, Gnomes, Halflings, 1/2 Elves are tje allowed races. Post your characters. Jamie- mail me the kit. Anyone else who wants to do a kit must mail it to me. In general try to keep to the basic (non-kit) classes. Clerics should find a suitable god.

can become very close friends with the ones he's decided to like. He doesn't
like most halflings.

There's more to this guy, but you probably don't want to hear it. Okay, well
that's my character.
I forgot: he has one extra 1st level spell because of a wisdom bonus. Here it is: Cure Light Wounds
Some more on my Druid, Fionna: She is 20 years old, weighs 190 lbs, and is 6'3" in height. She has locks of curly red hair down to shoulder length, green eyes, and almost elven looking ears. She sports a variety of freckles and birthmarks all over her ski. She is right legged albiet being left handed. She wears a white robe and locks of mistletoe for certain holy days and celebrations, in particular: Imbolc, Beltane, Lammas, and Saimhain. Specifically, she is from Ireland, and when she speaks common, her voice reflects that - though not to the point of making her hard to understand. Fionna was born during the second day of a full moon near the Christain holy day of Easter. Fionna's father is a Duke in Ireland, and her mother, naturally - a dutchess of the same realm. Fionna is an only child and therefore sometimes feels lonely even in the company of an adventuring party. Fionna has a tattoo of Epona, the Celtic horse-goddes on her left thigh. -There is more, but I won't annoy you with it.
<this item is now linked to RPG>
Hmmm... I think I might want to re-make a character... I might not get around to it, though. P.S. Did Bob ever give us a pantheon of any kind for making priests of a specific deity?
Actually, on careful inspection of the title, it says "a northern campaign, of Celtic Mythos". Hmmm... <Coyote makes a trip to the library>
actually I haven't seen bob in awile so i dunno
I've got a copy of the old deities and demi-gods book if U need info
Speaking of such things, I have the Planescape update/revamp of _Legends & Lore_:_On Hallowed Ground_. Of course, since I'm playing a druid - I personally don't need it's information for this campaign. However, I suppose you should give eldrich a concept of a god, and if he can't find a suitable one or if you want more options I'll find one. However, considereing that nature of this campaign it would probably be best to stick to the Celtic and/or Norse pantheons.
I'll probably do something from the Norse pantheon... maybe Frey? I dunno. I'll think about it.
Are there any additional races or banned races in this campaign? I assume the Te Danaan, or whatever you call them, are off limits, but what about other celtic mythic creatures? How about the norse? (this could get interesting)
"Elves" in Norse mythology throw the normal AD&D races for a loop, considering how the lys-alfar and mork-alfar, differ drastically from High Elves, and Drow, respectively.
norse? go for odin
Sure, kain, I'll play a greater deity, no problem...<sigh>
Just the normal races pleez
That's what I thought, although I knew people might need some re-iteration. So, If you wanted to be something exotic racially, forget it. Dwarf Elf Gnome Halfling Half-Elf Human
Right! We only have three players currently, right?
I'm working on a renegade Norse-style gnome, which might end up...interesting. But count me in.
