Satan made him do it! Those who are lead to have faith in the infallibility of the Bible have been purposely kept unaware of various Old Testament sources that contradict one another concerning the same alleged events. It has never been in the interest of the priesthood that believers be made aware that these different sources were serving their own agendas. For what serves the interest of the priesthood is that through the monotony of reading laborious Old Testament accounts the believers would simply be lulled into thinking that the Old Testament has many redundancies. God's Earthly Zip Code According to 2 Samuel 24:1, it was the Lord who incited David to number the people. But according to 1 Chronicles 21:1, it was Satan who caused David to do this most depraved of all things! It should also be noted in 2 Samuel 24:1-17 that after having incited David to number the people the Lord then punishes the people by killing 70,000 of them for what David did! From beginning to end these two priestly mumbo-jumbo accounts of God contradict the details of one another. The accounts of 2 Samuel 24:1-25 and 1 Chronicles 21:1-30; 22:1; 23:25-26 reveal little, if anything, about God; but they do reveal that there was a struggle between two competing sects over the earthly zip code of God. The Fundamentalist Mosaic priesthood of 2 Samuel was perfectly content with lugging a portable tent from place to place in which their angry god could hover over his little box. While the other sect, the Davidian priesthood of 1 Chronicles held a more worldly view. For they desired an elaborate and permanent temple, not for their own prestige, mind you, and certainly not because David could accumulate more centralized power, but only for the comfort of their jealous god, whose house must not be less than that of the other neighboring gods. The Davidians won the struggle over God's earthly residence. For according to 1 Chronicles 21:29-30; 22:1; 23:25-26 a big mean sword-bearing angel of the Lord was refusing to allow David to enter the tabernacle in the high place and inquire of the Lord. So David figured what the heck, if he couldn't inquired of the Lord in the high place he would out smart that mean angel by causing the Lord to come to a new location so that he and the Lord could get together. And thus Jerusalem, that world-renowned center of brotherly love, religious harmony, and scenic beauty, became the center of all divine activity. The things that I mock have cried out generation after generation to be mocked. For it is time for men to put away the childish things of the past and to think as men. Faith in God and faith in the Bible are not one and the same, for faith in God is born of liberty, where as, faith in the Bible is an imposed faith born of bondage. My postings are intended to cause one to honestly examine abominable Biblical images of God; false images that have sown fear of God, rather than love of God. For the light of examination troubles neither God, nor truth; whereas, what has been said falsely of God demands unquestioning faith. For the Spiritual House of Bondage and the Spiritual Land of Egypt are upheld by the doctrines of a self-called priesthood, who seek to persuade men that God is not served through their being righteous towards one another, but through unquestioning faith in the self serving doctrines of the priesthood. Yet God is not that wrathful one of the priesthood, in whom they have perversely justified the command to slaughter infants and children! It is time for true men of God to come forth and defend the righteousness of God. Somehow, i don't think that attacks like this will convince anyone to distance himself from Biblical literalism.....
