Grex Reality Item 35: A BUTCHER OF BABIES
Entered by dquixote on Tue Aug 11 21:52:25 UTC 1998:

A BUTCHER OF BABIES

A certain truth that was spoken long ago, yet betrayed by him who spoke
it, remains the truth! "Every man his own priest" - One's faith in God
should not be dependent upon what another has said of God, but in God
alone! For what others have said of God has sown an unrighteous fear of
God, bringing many into captivity to the Spiritual House of Bondage and
the Spiritual Land of Egypt!

Consider what one has said of God:

1 SAMUEL 15:2-3 Thus says the Lord of hosts, 'I will punish the
Amalekites for what they did in opposing the Israelites when they came
up out of Egypt. (3) Now go and attack Amalek, and utterly destroy all
that they have; do not spare them, but kill both man and woman, CHILD
AND INFANT, ox and sheep, camels and donkey, and stomp on the ants!

Who would say such vile things of God? A priesthood of self-called fools
or one inspired of Satan that's who. For only a fool or the wicked would
say such vile things of God! For the claims in 1 Samuel 15:2-3 against
the goodness of God sow not only the seeds of an unrighteous fear of
God, but permit wicked men to justify evil deeds in the name of God!

For the Bible is composed of a Spiritual duality. A duality of
contradicting Spiritual influences, which are dependent upon the desire
of one's Spiritual heart. For both good and evil are sown by the
conflicting Spiritual duality of the Bible. As long as men remain
ignorant of this truth, they shall be subject to wolves in sheep's
clothing, who claim to understand Biblical mysteries that honest men
cannot! The madness of Jones' town and Koresh's inferno testify to this
truth.

It matters little that men have claimed to believe in a God. What
matters is what do they claim to believe of their God, for it is what
one believes of his God that determines what they shall sow, be it good
or evil. For those who would WILLINGLY believe that God commanded the
Hitlerian atrocities of 1 Samuel 15:2-3 would do evil in the name of God
themselves!

How can anyone of a sound mind, except those in bondage, not see the
utter absurdity of saying God commanded the slaughter of defeated men
and women, which of itself is evil; but that He even commanded the
slaughter of their children? What can be said not only of the mentality,
but spirituality, of a priesthood who instructs others to believe that
God would do such wicked things? Surely that self-deceived priesthood
shall say I'm a fool for having mocked 1 Samuel15:2-3 with my little
ants, yet consider it to be righteous of them to instruct others to
believe that God commanded the slaughter of little children! For that
which I mock, and shall mock, has cried out for generations to be
mocked!

Who has sown confusion in the House of Christianity? For in this nation
alone there are more than a thousand Christian denominations, each
claiming their interpretation of "God's Word" is the correct
interpretation! How can that be? Does God not weight and measure His
words more carefully than a man? Would God be so incompetent as to
inspire a book that could and would be misunderstood by so many? Heaven
forbid!

For that which is inspired of God is faultless and is not misunderstood,
even by the simplest. Whereas, that which is not inspired of God, but is
said to be, is not faultless; and thereby, confusion is sown in the
House of Ritual Christianity; whose houses are not built upon faith in
God, but in the invention of men: The Romanized Christ! Who has said to
the captives of these houses of bondage that God is the author of the
Bible? Was it God or the priesthood? For who profits by such claims: God
or the priesthood? Surely, those who have profited by this foolish
claim, would also have one be so naive as to believe Satan had neither
influence, nor interest in the composition of the Bible?

No man speaks for God, for God is quite capable of speaking for Himself.
Nevertheless, the Spirit of God moves men to speak out on behalf of God,
and the truth of whatever they may say is to be determined within one's
Spiritual heart. For the Spirit of Truth testifies to this: That which
is spoken truthfully of God shall ring true within the Spiritual heart;
and likewise, that which is falsely said of God shall trouble the
Spiritual heart; for the Laws of God are written upon the Spiritual
heart of His people.

It is better to suffer the appearance of being a fool, than to believe
foolish things. For the people of God are not held accountable to the
prophets or the apostles, but are accountable to God alone:

FOR NO MAN WAS GIVEN, NOR SHALL BE GIVEN SPIRITUAL AUTHORITY OVER
ANOTHER, EACH IS HIS OWN PRIEST BEFORE GOD IN ALL THINGS!

In obedience to that which the Spirit has said to this servant:

"THIS IS THE HOUSE OF BONDAGE." "THIS IS THE LAND OF EGYPT." "FEED MY
SHEEP!" "TRUST GOD!" "PRAISE GOD!"

very, very thought provoking. I too question the Catholic bishops' and other
Christian "leaders'" authority. Jesus established not such heirarchy, but a
BROTHERHOOD. Thx for sharing this. -Suez

I don't think you're going to get very far by bashing on the Bible
(as Mr. Paine's example might tell you). The problems you seem so
concerned about have much more to do with human nature than with
the Bible anyway.
