A press kit is a collection of materials that companies and/or
organizations send to the press in an effort to get free publicity.
The kit may include a press release on the thing the organization wants
to get publicity on and a "backgrounder" which gives some background
information on the organization.

I think a press release might be a good idea. Perhaps you or I could
write a press release touting our first anniversary and send it to all
the local press as well as all the national computer magazines.

So, who is going to write it? I'll do it if no one else wants to.
