Grex Poetry Item 82: eternal winter
Entered by zoe on Mon May 3 19:42:23 UTC 1999:

sitting in the sactuary of eternal winter
her words pour all within her soul
                       isolated and cold
why last in this prison of undefined solitude?
perhaps in hopes of finding more in life
to capture the heart of one
                a symbol of hope
that she is not the monstrocity they claim.
flying on the wings of a dove
   my insides chill blue
    shaking uncontolably
     i'm too fragile for this...

changing the subject from 'she' to 'I' seems awkward, as well as the
phrases "why last in this prison of unconfined solitude?" and "i'm too
fragile for all this.." but I agree the analogy of lonely depression to
winter is excellent.

Don't mind me..I was just nitpicking and the overall poem is great. I
appreciate and enjoy imagery, which you have a strong command of.
