Grex Poetry Item 78: Survivor of the Decade
Entered by zoe on Wed Apr 21 19:30:26 UTC 1999:

razor edge memories
slicing into my mind once again
joyous times and the rememberence of loss
pushing me further
            and further
now i cry once more--
              for all i had,
that was slaughtered for the sake of blame.
though she stands close
                      holding my insides
reminding me that i'm still here--
a survivor of the pain of this decade
and i could do it again
and that i will make it through...

you can get just as far legally with "(c)1999 Zoe Frost, All Rights Reserved"
and it's easier to type. =}

anyway, I like this one a lot.

You have always done well, but you are improving your own skills and
sense of personal style. Your shorter poems seem more effective, and
you are more comfortable with spacing.

Have you experimented with lengthening spacing between letters or
individual words to control the pace?

Zoe, you're getting really good :) Keep up these efforts and best of
luck on publishing a book.
