it hurts already...
i'll be holding my breath until i find myself in your arms again.
to leave you;
is to leave all i ever have wanted.
now i will wander through a cold, empty city,
full of flashing lights and calloused people.
two years will fade slowly--
though i will hunt you down...
and if i must,
i will tear apart anyone who stands in my way.
thriving off the tradgic separation of desire and love...
i sware by the Gods--
i will find you.
we will spin into those feilds--
and it will be forever.
promise you won't forget me...
hold on,
for i feel myself slipping;
though i haven't yet left.
never let me go..
you are my eternity.
it hurts already--
and i'll be holding my breath until i find myself in your warm embrace
once more...

sappy, yea.. but what is life without intense feelings of love, loss and pain. you know who you are, let it be...
Not sappy, Zoe. I felt that way when Jon and I got married. I occasionally still feel that way occasionally now that we've been married for a month or so.
ohhh my....you almost got me crying with this one well done
I'm having a hard time here, I don't know which of your stuff is my favorite .... do you give lessons? :)
i just write whats in my head.. then i make it flow togeather.. usually it hits me pre-written.. you don't know how many times i can recite a perfect poem in my head and i get to a pen and paper and its gone... poetry floats on wings of imagination.. so easily lost by a large gust of disarming wind...
i'm sorry joe...
don't be....silly
resp:5 that's my writing style, too, more or less. Sometimes I visualize the entire poem, and sometimes, it just flows as it goes along.
its almost like a small inner voice whispering you lines to the next scene..
Oh, yes-- it's often like that.
