        I'm so in love with you, I can't deny
        That you are my sweetums, and I'd just die
        If you went away, I couldn't say
        What I might do if you forsake me.
        All day long I'm thinking only of you,
        How can I convince you that my love is true?
        I couldn't survive, I'd just take a dive
        If you refuse to take me.

By the way, there are a few MIDI files of "Smoky Topaz" on the
web.  Many of them are played too fast; a reasonably good
rendition is at

The "verse" and "chorus" of #0 are meant to go with the first
and third strains, respectively.
