Who's Moxy Fruvous?
they're a band out of Canada (Ontario, I think), they started out as a four voice male accapellla ensemble, kinda like ROckapella, but they've branched out to include accompanying instrumentation as well. Their lyrics are usually humorous, politically satirical and once in a while more serious... I thoroughly recommend them. Go pick up Bargainville or You WIll Go To The Moon. (The latter hs a asong on it called "Kick In The Ass," which is a funny commentary about how to deal with people who're thoughtless.)
But if I listen to them I'll no longer be free to imitate them without guilt.
I think you predate them. You can just claim they were the ones imitating you.
I guess maybe it is picking up some.
