Deep End Of Midnight There's a cool wind blowing through my heart tonight No amount of love's gonna make it all right There's nothing to left to do but to swim in my guilt The dark water beckons me as sunflowers wilt There's a big storm brewing in my eyes, it's true My past rains down and the lightning is blue If it rains hard enough it may wash me away Til then I sit and wait for the dawn of the new day I'm diving in The pool has no water I'm swimming in The sins of my father I'm drowning in Something I can't indentify Diving off the deep end of midnight 'til the day I die There's a stray dog howling at the clouds above And a child marvels at the flight of a dove The dog runs away and the child learns to fly Descending to the heavens as the angels cry There's an old man sitting in a rocking chair He sees the whole thing doesn't seem to care He heads into his house to his hiding place Cursing in the mirror, doesn't know his own face There's a tired young man where he used to be I see my reflection staring back at me... I'm diving in The pool has no water I'm swimming in The sorrow of my mother I'm drowning in Something I can't indentify Diving off the deep end of midnight 'til the day I die We're diving off the deep end of midnight 'til the day we die

Another tune-less song...
Nice lyrics, yeah. The mirror stuff in the last verse-and-a-half is especially cool.
