haiku

A mount munched by a giant beast
a beast called human being
a cracker to a baby
a mountain to a man

I'm not sure if it's just me, but I'm having trouble completely 
understanding this.  The last line seemed vague in contrast to the rest 
of the poem.  Who is the man?
