Lately
I've taken up painting with oils
Cause the words don't come anymore
And the oil flows a little better anyway
I can push and manipulate
Or draw it in thin fading strokes
and let its subelty
make up for my lack

to leave me brooding on yesterday

<nods>.  This is good.  Usually, I don't like pieces of writing about writers'
block, but this seems to work better than most: "painting with oils cause the
words just don't flow" is a good image, and you've wroked it out well.  
I wasn't really satisfied by the ending, but maybe that's just me.
