killing time and little bits of myself
just waiting for something to ease the silence
something to break the monotony
something....
shit, you know I'm lying right?

hmm....I like this. I'm not sure why, but I really like it.
("killing time and little bits of myself" is a great line, too)
I'll agree with Dan that the aforementioned line stands out. Very clever.

It's been awhile since I've posted anything, but I did want to say that I like this poem because of how it's reletively short, but effectively conjurs up the emotion of the author. Yeah. Bravo.
Count me in on that little bits of myself thing. That's good stuff.
