Grex Photography Item 67: Stupid Pictures.
Entered by ball on Mon Sep 4 06:33:06 UTC 2006:

Yet another 35mm SLR has conspired to put me off photography
for a while: the film seems to have come unspooled inside
the camera.

Yesterday I saw something though that reminded me of the US$
20 digital camera that knocks around in the glove box of the
ballmobile. I took this picture...

Some frat guys at MTU once assembled a somewhat cruder version of that
for the annual "hobo parade." They used two Ford Escort wagons.

That may be the kindest thing to do to a Ford Escort.

One of them was a *diesel* Escort, no less.

That one had at least one redeaming feature then.

Taken in the evening with a US$ 20 digital camera...

Reminds me of "Young Patriots Park" in Riverview, MI. The park was
originally the site of one of the Nike missile batteries that used to
surround Detroit, and an unarmed missile is displayed there. The
actual battery is still buried under the soccer field, although there's
been talk of eventually demolishing it for fear it could someday
collapse.
