Alright, who here besides me attempts to use a keyboard with a wriggling child on your lap? (The child in question is also eating corn chips. Yeesh!)

I too have a (non-sleepy) 5 month old on my lap, attempting to type as well. I certainly becomes a challenge, and yet, is pretty interesting sometimes!
You mean you haven't noticed all my replies peppered with heel-marks from little kicking feet? -NO! you can't have the mouse, Gareth! No, no, no pushig buttons, that's mama's. Timothy, you'll have your turn when I'm done. YOu think of a story for me to type... (and so on.)
Yes, the mouse holds particular fascination for the rug rats. Button pushing is a favorite passtime. Also, if our TV ever starts acting erratically, we can generally find our 2 year-old with the remote in hand madly clicking away. I guess worst of all, our daughter has found both the reset switch and the power switch on the computer.
aaaargh! not the reset switch! I did have a bit of a time keeping Gareht out from under the table, a while back, where that BRIGHT, RED power switch looked awfully attractive...
This is certainly insight into what I have to look forward to! Right now Kaitlyn just likes to hits the keys...and I have to keep hitting the correct key! She hasn't discovered the mouse...yet! But she does prefer to watch words on the screen over games. (I hope it stays that way personally)
