why do you want to be a FW in this conference?  How do you plan to
"pump some life into it"? What would be different as FW from just starting
or reponding to some items?
Or anyway, tell us a bit about yourself and kids.

I'd like to see your style as fw.  Why don't you just start the new items
you're interested ins posting every few days?

Rather that giving the excuse that the items have been deleted, why not just
tell us about yourself?

If you're interested in a conference, just make it active.  Waiting of
"overseer" powers is hardly necessary.
