From Valerie's point of view, her item was in the femme conference, not 
the parenting conference.  From mine (and apparently yours) it was in 
parenting.

Why not enter other items about parenting, tod?  For me, I am hoping 
the removal of Valerie's item will lead to some other items having a 
chance.  When I tried discussing Asperger's disorder in another item in 
parenting, the discussion vanished into Valerie's item and never had a 
chance on it's own.  Now it's long gone.  I am hoping such items can 
gain participation on their own now.

If one person's item is the only thing that is keeping a conf alive, then it's
not a very healthy conf.  I agree with jep, there's a lot more parenting going
on than is showing up here.

What particular issue is important to keep alive?

If there are those who are interested in parenting discussions, I can 
think of a lot of topics that could support items.  I think I'll start 
one now.

re1: i was reading it there, and had forgotten it here.

     the way she is handling her frozen item is total
     chickenshit, like a five year old hiding
     behind their bigger sibling and going, " *nyeah
     nyeah*"...actually i'm sort
     of happy that she's doing that...it reinforces my
     belief that LLL is a cult and when you say anything
     which threatens their *investment* they will FLIP OUT.
