Hmm.  That brings to mind a question I was pondering earlier...
I have always used a baby carrier to stap my little ones to my front when 
I don't have thwm in bed or playing on the floor.  When my wee ones were
that size i never rode in a car, so it never came up, but I found myself
wondering if tat would be safe in a acr if the baby were strapped to me and I
was belted in--with the baby outside the belt, of course. Clearly the airbag
would change the whole equation, though.
