Grex Paradox Item 5: Complaints... Tell the world what's wrong with it!
Entered by sidhe on Thu Dec 1 18:48:35 UTC 1994:

This is a neutral place, devoted to little else but pure complaining.
So, go ahead! I'm certain there's something that you need to get off your
chest. I'll start: I can't stand how cliche modern speech has become! I
would really enjoy seeing more original phrasology, rather than the tradi-
tional one-liners!

I agree Chris. DoubleSpeak is no fun.
I guess we are just stuck between a rock and a hard place. (sorry)

Argh! I've been hoisted by my own pitard! <Lord and Lady, another one!>

So, Laughing Bear, got one of your own? Let's hear it!

My slaggle is caught between my noxious earlobes.

UMMM.. care to elaborate? Dare I ask?

Complaining../ HMMMM. Where to start. I being a very sadistic and
and sarcastic person I really do not know where to begin.
OK one thing I really hate is when the women I date fall in

too fast. It never fails. I cant date a women for more then 3 mths without
her developing that 'look' in her eyes when she sees me. I know this
is a really stupid thing to complain about and most men could easily
complain about the reverse, but this conf needs to be spiced up.
I hate feeling trapped because someone else's feelings could get hurt.
I was with my last long term relationship for 3 1/2 years because of it.

Dont worry Im getting better at breaking hearts, but I dont have to like
it.

Well, now, quite the romeo, eh? Is there something that you are doing,
perhaps, which makes them fall for you so heavily?

#9 of 25 by ashdown on Mon Jan 9 23:27:46 1995:

I dance.

#10 of 25 by sidhe on Sun Jan 15 08:05:02 1995:

You must dance WELL, then, or you wouldn't possess that kind of draw!

#11 of 25 by suzi on Thu Jan 19 02:02:39 1995:

Here's a thought - don't take them dancing.

#12 of 25 by sidhe on Thu Jan 19 17:04:45 1995:

        Indeed! A solution is there!

#13 of 25 by selena on Fri Mar 24 16:31:09 1995:

Why is it that you can't get a GOOD car anymore? An artist I work
with just bought a new lexus, and it's already been in the shop four times
for engine trouble!

#14 of 25 by nephi on Sat Mar 25 08:01:42 1995:

Wow! And those are supposed to be the most reliable car on the road, too!

#15 of 25 by selena on Sat Mar 25 08:09:43 1995:

I know!

#16 of 25 by suzi on Sun Mar 26 05:14:29 1995:

And it's not just cars! It seems every major purchase we have made in
the last several years has had a *major* problem soon after we bring
it home (including cars). Is there no integrity in workmanship or
engineering any more???

#17 of 25 by selena on Sun Mar 26 06:41:30 1995:

It'd seem not! You should see my modem! It fries out on me, every
so often! And they tr--

        Just kidding.
It didn't do it.. that time.

I bet I'm not the only one who tried this..
Don't you just HATE when your sys-admin at school thinks he's soooooo
smart? My sys-admin actually sit most of the day checking if you are
doing "non-learning" things on the net... Ummm are you reading this?

#20 of 25 by selena on Mon Apr 10 05:27:37 1995:

Well, obviously, that ain't the case anymore!

#21 of 25 by spon on Sat Apr 6 10:38:04 2002:

Cars are reliable if you have the right ones. Friends aren't reliable no
matter what ones you have. Girls are a pain in the ass (can i curse in here?
i appologize sincerely if I may not). But remember: always buy Honda.

#22 of 25 by jhudson on Thu Apr 11 01:18:31 2002:

GREX is too fast.

#23 of 25 by cyberpnk on Tue Jun 4 21:11:17 2002:

People don't <expletive deleted> LISTEN anymore!!!

#24 of 25 by b166er on Fri Jul 2 21:55:20 2004:

I dont like how people try to correct my speech. We think through language,
so logically if someone tries to tell you what you can and cannot say (FCC
a federal commission that IS NOT ELECTED) they are in turn telling you how
you can think. They are telling you what is right and what is wrong, and you
cannot come to conclusions yourself.

People are too afraid of language. Someone will say "oh i dont like that
word!" meanwhile the word in itself is completely harmless, it is the
connotation with which it is used. People need to understand this. There is
nothing to be afraid of it is all connotation, the words are not bad. I dont
think of myself as a radical person, more along the lines of a logical person
and i DO NOT like to be told who i can speak and to be told what i can and
cannot do.

The country we live in is hypocritical in itself. The constitution was written
by white men, not elected individuals, rich...white men. They didnt give a
damn about anyone else but themselves and their pocket books afraid taht some
other power would swoop down and steal their money from them. Read the fine
print, we're all equal but a black man is only 3/5. Sorry you had to listen
to me rant, but this is all i think about so if i have any more i'll let you
all know.
