Hypocrites are everywhere. They're in our government, our schools, our enemies, our friends, <gasp> EVEN (sometimes) US! Has anyone ever run into one of these blatent hypocracies, or caused one? It's okay, it happens to everybody..

well, poloticians come to mind....really quickly in fact...
I think it's fair to say that the political arena BREEDS hypocrisy!
democracy breeds hypocrisy!!
Actually, I daresay that hypocracy breeds democracy! (Gee, and you wondered why the Govenment is so screwed up!)
Our government? Screwed up? HAHAHAHAHA I laugh in the face of non-believers. <Extreme sarcasm>
Actually, to illumiate just what I mean, if this country followed what the majority of the people SAY they believe, this would be a very different place. As it stands, there are many people, who, while they may talk a good game, vote differently. And, of course, let us not forget those who constantly complain about the state of Government in this country, but who are never to be found near a voting booth come Early November..
Tell me about it. If you don't vote then you have no right to complain. The only way to change is to participate in the decisions.!!!!..
Avoid political responsibility! Vote only for candidates with funny names!
but.. that makes it too easy to win a campaign.. all you have to do is change your name, legally, to something weird and you'd be assured votes!
Make a write in vote for PeaceFrog!!!
Yes.. a funny enough name to win votes, "PeaceFrog"..
in response to #7: What about those of us who are too young to vote?? We can hardly have any effect on what they do to our schools, how they mess up our future and our present when the govt. won't let us have a say in it.
I don't think that he was referring to anyone unable to vote. There are many people out there who complain and complain and *complain* about what various politicians have done, but when it comes time to vote the bums out, they do nothing. I think he was referring to those people.
Isn't it true that everyone else is a hypocrit, but ourselves!!
(Tell me about it. I try *so* hard not to be a hypocrite, but every so often I catch myself in hypocritical thinking, nevertheless.)
Same here. My parents can be at times. They'll say that no parents can rule their children's lives after a certain age (like 18), but they still demand that I put every paycheck in the bank and frequently ask how much I've saved. Grrrr... You should've heard the religious debate. =) Politicians are the worst, though. I vote, but I'm often confused because I can never believe what they say anymore. Vote PeaceFrog/Birdy in '96!
not sure about your comments but they are good
Tell me something I don't know!
