Since some Gaming conventions are listed by single item enteries here, I thought it would be good to put a compiled listing of gaming conventions and their times w/ the sources of our information here. No sense in hyping just a few... people should be aware of others. I'll start off: Con on the River II Held by: Winona RPSIG Location: Kryzsko Commons, Winona State University "Smaug" dining area. Games Held: Mixture When: 11th & 12th November, 1995 Source of information: RPSIG Newsletter, and I am working as a volunteer during my off gaming times. Drift Note: I will be competing in 2 RPGA events. Both AD&D. One Ravenloft, One questionable- though a Shadowrun adventure with the same title is also taking place at this convention.

I missed U-con. It sucked.
when is the next U-con and where?
U-con is normally in the fall, although I've heard the staff are a little burned out and looking for fresh blood to work the next one.
where was the last one or is there a regular location? >
So far they've all been held at the U of M student union.
yeah thought so I haven't been to any yet though
Maybe I'll be able to get down to the next one. I get my license at the end of the summer. What all is covered there, anyway?
It's a local gaming convention, rpgs, ccgs, board games, miniatures, a few panel discussions. There is some open gaming and tournaments.
absolutly evreything is covered I haven't been yet but we'll have to have a place for grexers to meet at the next u-con
Has anyone mentioned "MAGECON"? I found a flier @ riders a while ago.
megacon? where when why and how and who and what?
This is not a convention per se, but... 5th Annual Charity Game-A-Thon Held by: Winona RPSIG Location: Holsinger's Lodge, Winona Games: Mixture - No Game Descriptions Yet When: 13 April - 14 April, 1996 12:00pm - 12:00pm I am in charge of typing up game descriptions when they do come in... Re#10: No... That's focusing on MtG or Mage I take it?
Bjorn- No, here's what the flier says: MAGE Con IV Role Playing Convention (NOT just MtG) May 4-5 Bellevue Conservation Club 8484 Butterfield Hwy. Bellevue MI (this is located about halfway between Lansing and Kalamazoo, just off I-69) Oh scratch that, it's an ALL ROLE PLAYING CONVENTION (RPGA sanctioned if anyone cares) U DU not have to be a member of RPGA to play. Entery fee is $12 for Sat., $8 for sun. or $18 for the weekend. benefits the Belllevue conservation Club. Extra AD&D benifit for $3. Camping is permitted, motels avalable if dezired. Limited dealer space. etc (I can write more if needed)
Sad news. The staff who usually run U-Con have decided they no longer want to organize the convention. They;ve been doing it for many years now and are feeling rather burned out. There are some people who may be interested in picking it up and continuing, but there is no definate news yet. I'll keep you appraised as I hear more.
<With that eldrich gives a mighty "NUTS">
<kain gives a mighty "DOH!"
Anyone interested in helping put it together, I can put you in touch with other people who want to keep it alive.
would but I don't have that kinda time
Ditto here. :(
