Entered by cyberpnk on Mon Apr 3 19:31:12 UTC 1995:

Night City, 2020. It's not pretty, but it's home.

I'm starting up a Cyberpunk 2020 game if anyone wants to play. Enter your
characters here, stats and all, and if I get enough response, I'll start the
game.

Kain, get some people to play and we can. Robotech is, Well, I think it was
mentioned earlier, based on the cartoon, Which is totally awesome, let's not
drift further, I'll make an item...

#12 of 24 by phreakus on Tue Apr 11 17:51:37 1995:

I know someone who took Robotech and ran it by Star Wars rules. Worked
great.

#13 of 24 by jamie on Wed Apr 12 02:04:05 1995:

Is Robotech the cartoonm that's on on Sunday mornigns (11 o'clock AM, cjhannel
20)? Or is that Battle tech, with the clans and major Adam Steiner and the
Battlemechs and Elemental Suits and all of that? Whichever it is, I think
it's cool!

#14 of 24 by plork on Wed Apr 12 21:01:28 1995:

#16 of 24 by phreakus on Thu Apr 13 16:18:31 1995:

re #13: You're talking about BATTLEtech. ROBOtech is an entirely different
kettle of fish. Just ask anyone who enjoys Japanese animation.

reAL-quadim, I'll try anyone in the ann arbor area interested in an Al-quadim

#21 of 24 by kain on Sun Apr 30 13:10:18 1995:

earth calling cyberpunk
/

#22 of 24 by cyberpnk on Tue May 2 18:09:27 1995:

sorry about that. I haven't been able to be on for awhile.

Anyway, imagine a future where man has merged with machine. Netrunners travel
the Net at will, packs of Nomads roam the countryside, and Corporates sit
in their hi-rise towers overlooking the Street, and the Fixers and Techies.
Unemployment is high, and after WWIII <which was brought to a fast halt by
the Tycho mass-drivers run by the Orbitals> law enforcement has become
somewhat draconian. You worry about getting by day-to-day <if you're a Nomad,
Fixer, or other assorted streetlife> or about getting knifed in the back
<if you,re a Corp>. That's the setting, next time I come on, I'll tell how
to make up characters...

#23 of 24 by kain on Tue May 2 19:51:33 1995:

COOL!

#24 of 24 by phreakus on Wed May 3 17:17:26 1995:

Let me guess. Cyberpunk 2020, right?
Personally, I prefer Shadowrun.
