Hey folks.  I will be singing at the Art Fair Song Fest on Friday, July 
21.  The concert is at the delightfully air conditioned Kerrytown
Concert  House at noon, and admission is free!  There will be three
other singers in  addition to me, and the accompanist is the fabulous
Kevin Bylsma.  I'm  going to sing three wonderful Tchaikovsky songs.

Come on by if you've got a little time, and hear me sing in Russian!

I will be singing with my trio All About Eve Thurs July 20, 6-8 pm in
Chelsea, somewhere on the street downtown. Ditto on Aug 24 and Sep 7.

Tonight at 7 pm I will be singing in the gazebo in downtown Linden, Mi.
No admission charge.

Linden is near Fenton. I sang country and folk music.

Tomorrow night I sing at Stonebridge Country Club, which is 
somewhere on the south end of Ann Arbor.

Sun Aug 27 I sing at two Methodist churches in two different towns,
at 9 and 10:30 am.  Deerfield and Blissfield, I think.

Thurs Aug 24 my trio All About Eve will be performing on the street
in downtown Chelsea from 6 to 8 pm. Matt Watroba will accompany us
and throw in some of his tunes.
We do Chelsea again on Sept 7. We sing at the Methodist Church in
Owosso on Wed eve Sept 13.

My annual Katie and Friends concert at Green Wood Coffee House is
Nov 10 and this year includes Michael ("Bluer Than Blue") Johnson,
Mary McCaslin and Matt Watroba.

We thought of that, but liked the other better.

Just found out today I will be onstage at DTE Energy Theatre (Pine Knob,
in my book) for the first time, this Sunday evening. The event is
(regrettably) called HippieFest 2006, and I will be singing backup vocals
for Melanie. This is only a 25 min. set; I will sing at her full-length
show on Sept 9 at the Kent Theater in Kent, Ohio.

Congrats on your Pine Knob gig!

Yeah, I'll bet you'll have a lot of fun playing at Pine Knob. Just think
of all of the other people who have shared the same stage!

I saw Joan Jett play there on 4th of July to promote her album FETISH.
You could shave your head like she did and make your mark on Oakland County.

Katie, really enjoyed your performance in Chelsea the other night. The 
group's harmonies are tight and balanced and I'm crazy about the songs you 
choose. Thanks for mentioning here or I'd not have known about this 
series.

You're welcome. We do it again on Sept 7, with our regular pianist
accompanying. We'll be even better with him there. Tho Matt Watroba
was a sweetheart to fill in on guitar last week!
