Re #3:  Yep, that's Kerry Mills' "Whistling Rufus", an early cakewalk
composition (circa 1900 or so) from the ragtime era, played on the banjo
or similar instrument.  Sounds like the recording might date from that
era too.  Do you happen to know who the performer is?

"Give it up" is a sensual, dark song; you can check out the video to
hear the song.
