I'm in.

If I were trex, I'd invent a very exotic drink involving several ounces
of gold dust suspended in colloidal form.

Aren't you glad I'm not him?

#3 of 36 by cyklone on Wed Jun 21 11:34:36 2000:

Actually, I think there is a drink that has an inexpesnive form of gold in
it.

#6 of 36 by jmsaul on Wed Jun 21 13:23:36 2000:

There's a variety of sake that has gold leaf in it.

Gary's going to Ireland in September - if you want something from there that
you can't get here, we'll provide it.

original recipe including Deer's blood and opium.

notice how they don't list the ingredients?

#17 of 36 by tsty on Mon Jul 3 04:44:40 2000:

i'm in ... single malts rule, too.

we might also consider a clebratory party/picnic with
a grab bag of 'neat stuff' that this trex-led crew could use.

each pern lists 1-2 items and tod/seldon/board collects some
fundage for the grab bag. i'm in for $25 on this.

#18 of 36 by twinkie on Mon Jul 3 08:23:58 2000:

Sounds like a neat idea.
I'll match tsty's $25

#19 of 36 by tod on Mon Jul 3 14:53:28 2000:

 :)
Cool..let's have a picnic :)

#20 of 36 by twinkie on Mon Jul 3 17:04:40 2000:

For clarification, I am not pledging $25 for a picnic.
I am pledging $25 for the "grab bag of 'neat stuff'" for the staff members
who helped to bring M-Net back online.

Depending on the weight of the "grab bags", and how many need to be sent, I
may also be willing to cover the postage. (I'm assuming at the very least,
jp2 will need his sent to him)

#21 of 36 by tod on Mon Jul 3 17:25:13 2000:

I'll put you down for potato salad and melon, twinkie.

#22 of 36 by twinkie on Mon Jul 3 17:36:45 2000:

Sounds good. I guess we're gonna have to buy coolers and dry ice to ship them.
Anyone wanna pledge coolers and dry ice.

#23 of 36 by tod on Mon Jul 3 18:56:13 2000:
