So, M-Netters in exile: What annoys you the most about Grex?

Grex would be great if it weren't for all the Grexers.

People who, whenever cars are mentioned, rant about how you should take public
transportation instead.

#6 of 160 by ric on Wed Jun 14 23:03:55 2000:

I hate that "only 0 >foo" doesn't work in Picospan.

resp:4
i heartily agree.
but, with the borders proxy to contend with, i'm typically up here in
web-space.
when skipping through new items in a conference in backtalk, i can only
'read next' new item, i can't go backwards to any responses entered into
items i've passed.
also, the web-page sometimes takes forEVER to load ANYthing. it isn't as
bad as it was during my first sojourn to grex (twinkie's first
shitdick crusade), which is a step in the right erection, i guess.
and the pistachio colors are really ugly.
on the whole, grexers are just as xenophobic as m-netters, "in their own
style" as is quickly tacked on when any distinction 'twixt the two are
made.

grex has its advantages over m-net, too. (aside from being up.)

#8 of 160 by lelande on Wed Jun 14 23:07:46 2000:

oh yeah, and it doesn't let me post if someone, like ric, posts while
i'm typing. i don't know if it does this in picospan, but in backtalk,
this just means i wait twice the already lengthy load time.

#9 of 160 by edina on Wed Jun 14 23:24:30 2000:

I hate that when I am sending a tel, it can only be so long. I hate the queu.
I hate the hippie elitism.

Next time someone acts sanctimonious, I am going to say that they are acting
grex.

#10 of 160 by iggy on Wed Jun 14 23:45:48 2000:

i hate grex because nobody complains about butt-juice.

#11 of 160 by twinkie on Thu Jun 15 00:06:39 2000:

I hate Grex because your monkey ass is here.

#12 of 160 by slynne on Thu Jun 15 00:34:09 2000:

#13 of 160 by iggy on Thu Jun 15 00:42:32 2000:

i dont have a monkey.
but rest assured, if i did have a monkey, it would
be a very *BAD* monkey and i would spank it thoroughly.

#14 of 160 by jerryr on Thu Jun 15 01:11:51 2000:

grex is ok as long as you don't get caught up in the pedantic bullshit in
agora. and of course there is the real danger of going in to insulin shock.
other than that there ain't much wrong with it.

did i tell y'all that in order to really thumb my nose at the arabs i
purchased the biggest badest suv that gm makes? cost me over $100 bucks to
fill it today, but i had fun beeping my horn at all the losers standing and
waiting at the bus stop in the rain. i just lowered my passenger side window
and entertained them with 200 db of the finast kinda gangsta rap from the
incredible sound system i had installed. this weeked i am going to take this
baby out on some back roads and see how many little creatures i can crush
beneath its wheels. life is good.

#15 of 160 by violator on Thu Jun 15 02:05:33 2000:

100 bucks to fill up yr tank? what the hell kinda car is it?

#16 of 160 by cyklone on Thu Jun 15 03:13:06 2000:

Read it again, violator

#17 of 160 by lelande on Thu Jun 15 03:26:20 2000:

and then again.
and another time after that.
it's very well written.

#18 of 160 by violator on Thu Jun 15 03:51:18 2000:

yes. drunkeness does not help one to read items correctly.

#19 of 160 by twinkie on Thu Jun 15 04:22:11 2000:

M-Netting drunk makes you a loser.
Grexing drunk makes you a complete fucking loser.

#20 of 160 by jerryr on Thu Jun 15 11:01:51 2000:

bwa ahahahahahaahahahaha!!!!

#21 of 160 by violator on Thu Jun 15 13:09:23 2000:

yes twinkie does speaketh the truth.

#22 of 160 by realtao on Thu Jun 15 14:40:03 2000:

Actually, I like Grex, and most Grexxers. They're decent people.

But then, I'm an Ann Arborite with an advanced degree, a job at
UM, knowledge of multisyllabic words, a fondness for all small
animals, a dilligence for recycling, good manners, a pair of
well-worn Birkenstocks, and a liking for vegetarian food.

I really don't understand how you dweebs on MNet put up with
me.

#23 of 160 by jerryr on Thu Jun 15 14:57:32 2000:

it's your set of incredibly large hooters. makes igbor jealous as hell.

#24 of 160 by realtao on Thu Jun 15 15:33:01 2000:

Yeah, okay. That would do it right there.

#25 of 160 by jerryr on Thu Jun 15 16:10:06 2000:

yup. yup. then again, it might be your incredibly attractive uzi.

#26 of 160 by iggy on Thu Jun 15 16:29:38 2000:

yeah, but mine are more special because they *sag*

#27 of 160 by jmsaul on Thu Jun 15 17:05:07 2000:

The difference is that you have a sense of humor, Mary, and you don't feel
the need to lecture those who aren't like you about how your way is the only
good one.

#28 of 160 by happyboy on Thu Jun 15 17:39:00 2000:

plus yr a yooper. :P

#29 of 160 by md on Thu Jun 15 18:05:13 2000:

A yooper with droopers. Wringer-ready!

What annoys me about grex is how when one of you dipshits
enters a serious item there are a few nice people ready to
give you a simple, sincere, courteous answer. There is a
lot of knowledge here, whatever you might think of the
people, and for reasons I do not understand, a handful of
them are willing to share it with you if you ask them to.
Go figure. Yaint gettin nuthin from me, bozos.

#30 of 160 by ric on Thu Jun 15 18:09:48 2000:

Oh yeah, I hate that you can't type more than 255 characters into one line
in party.

#31 of 160 by slynne on Thu Jun 15 18:23:55 2000:

resp:29 - We're not getting anything from you? Not even a good tit
wringing? MD, you're long on promises and short on delivery.

#32 of 160 by md on Thu Jun 15 18:25:06 2000:

Oh, I deliver, by the truckload.

#33 of 160 by happyboy on Thu Jun 15 18:25:25 2000:

#35 of 160 by slynne on Thu Jun 15 18:29:31 2000:

Oh Barry. I hope you have one of your special hugs for Michael. He does
sound like he could use one.

#36 of 160 by md on Thu Jun 15 18:42:21 2000:

"Barry"?!? Good ol' happyboy's name is BARRY?? This is
priceless. What's his last name? Finkelstein? Rottner?
Rosenblatt?
