I really don't know why I have a key to the M-net door, but I do.

It looks like a routing problem on WWNet's side.

I tried "traceroute m-net.arbornet.org" and got " 3
cisco1-ser3-0.detroit.usabestnet.net (209.142.192.22) 27.321 ms !H
cisco1-ser3-1.detroit.usabestnet.net (209.142.192.70) 22.464 ms !H *"

Telnetting from there gets "telnet: Unable to connect to remote host: No route
to host"

More information in Agora conference, item #71. ( conf:agora,71 )
I'll try to dial in to M-net every morning and evening from home and
relay news here. ** IF ** equipment was damaged, I wouldn't expect a
quick restoration of network service.

In grex party last night, krokus offered to take a look at any
possible damaged equipment. Krokus, as you probably know, is a long-time
M-net user and a Navy electronics tech, and he's visiting Ann Arbor
right now.

M-net is back up. mjb reported that the Bitsurfr needed a power reset.
