feel...well kinda shiny and happy like the rest of the folks on 
here...however now i feel much better :)

far nobody has told us anything about themselves, except
indirectly by their behavior of course. :)

I'm a prof. I've M-Netted for 12 years, just one year less than the
maximum possible. I like to play the piano.

I've mnetted for eleven years because I'm a year younger than remmers.

Well, since people started saying stuff, I guess it is my turn.  Well I have
been M-netting for 3 years..I know not long, but I didn't have enough money
to get a better computer until that time so there!  And otherwise, I play
guitar, draw, (draw people, animals, buildings, etc.)  I am actually a pretty
good artist.  And I hang out at BBS's and write scripts/programs.

        Well, let's see.  I've been on M-Net since February, 1985.
I'm a lawyer in my day job.  Married, one child, and live with
my wife Sabra Briere on Broadway in AA.
        I have the rare honor and great privilege of being on the
Arbornet Board of Directors.   8-)  This pinnacle of my career
was preceded by my invention of the Policy Cf on M-Net longer ago
than I care to think about it.
        Plus, I have been cfadm on and off twice.

my first unix bbs account was on grex.

i was once president of a 501(c)(3) michigan coporation that at one time
had an operating tele-confet was pretty spiffy.

rumors about where my shoes might be - although confirmed - may or may not
be true.

Hi!  I'm Kathleen and I got on M-net in March of 1995.  (This is beginning
to sound a bit like an Addictions Anonymous meeting.)

I'm currently a writer working on breaking into the fiction market.  I've
already been published in magazines and such for my non-fiction work, but
fiction is where some of the *big* money is.

Prior to this, I worked for 13 years for Investigative Associates on Pauline
in AA.  IA is a private investigation firm.  I worked as an operative, then
got promoted to training new operatives.  I specialized in paper trails.

Oh yes!  I have two sons -- ages 25 and 6 and am married to Don Wenzel.  We
live on the west side of Ypsilanti.

I'm Steve.  I was on M-Net a lot three or four years ago, but decided I liked
Grex better.  Now I recreate my account on M-Net occasionally to read teh
policy conference (when peopel start talking a lot about something goin on
there), but I don't log in often enough to avoid having to rerun newuser
almost every time.

 but have since defected to grex.

        I now work in Dearborn, MI doing network ops with jazz and a few

Hello, I am Eskarina Smith, who is a witch and wizard on the Discworld.  (Read
the book Equal Rites by Terry Pratchett.  Good stuff.  And then you won't have
to ask me any more about esk.)  There are a few select people on grex and mnet
who know my real name (who chose to call me it at grex events and such,
although I answer perfectly well to esk or eskarina).
IRL, I live on the northwest side of Ann Arbor, about a block from Forsythe.
I went to middle school with thorin.  She was in my advisory.  
I like to play the french horn and trumpet.  I just got back from Germany,
where the only type of popular music is techno.  Be afraid, be very, very
afraid!
Also, to all the mnetters who haven't seen all the sights and sounds of grex,
I recommend joining the reality conference to do some thinking while you're
here.

hi, i'm katy, i used to be an m-net addict.. i've lost the addiction to grex
and since gained an addiction to grex... because of m-net's downfall (c'mon,
you can't deny it.. it's basically dead).  i basically moved to grex cause
hm, oh yeah, my friends on m-net stopped logging in, and i met a neet someone
on grex, and that's my story, hope you like it:) oh yeah, i'm 16, and go to
huron hs, in ann arbor, i hate it very much.

I have been on Mnet for a year now. Enjoyed it and foungd out grex in the
meanwhile. 
Enjoying both of them now. ooops not mnet for the last 4 days.
Any idea when mnet is gonna come back? Or is it gone for good?

        Mnet feeling symphaty pains for Grex?

Hi, I'm Jen.  I feel like this is some sort of weird aa meeting too.  (stands
up) Hi, I'm Jen, and I'm a codependant.  Silvers is right, grex is slow.
I'm like 20 and live in NJ.  I've been on Mnet for two years now, and I guess
its pretty cool.  Most people who read this probably know me from mnet as
being sort of a bitch.  Sorry if I have offended.

Remember that M-Net is the "System With An Attitude!"   8-)
