Grex Micros Item 246: Mac consultant recommendation?
Entered by guanxi on Tue Jan 29 17:41:30 UTC 2002:

Hello,

Thanks in advance for any suggestions you have...

Can anyone recommend a reliable, local Apple Mac consultant or business?
I'm an IT professional, but in the PC world. I've somehow become
responsible for a couple of small Mac networks, and my lack of
experience is making everything take much too long.

I need ongoing support for the two networks. The work should not be
technically very challenging, but I need someone reliable who will stay
until the job is finished correctly. I'm happy to pay well for
quality; the first company I tried could only be relied on to collect
their bill. The first job of the whomever I hire will be to fix the
errors they left behind.

Feel free to e-mail me if you prefer: guanxi_i@yahoo.com

Thanks again,
guanxi

One of our volunteers are Kiwanis club (used computers) specialized in Macs
and was very competent. Ross Orr. I will try to contact him for you as he
is not in the phone book. He does hardware and software and also carpentry
(helped build all the shelving).

Where's your "local"? Grex is based in Ann Arbor, Michigan, USA.

Oops ... "local" is Ann Arbor for me; maybe I shouldn't assume even on
Grex. The Macs in question are in Ann Arbor and Detroit's
north/northwest suburbs.

And, thanks keesan.

We can leave a note on his door if you want to mail me something more specific
to include in it (keesan@grex.org). He lives a couple blocks from me.
