Well, as the preceding item reported, I am finally running a system
less than ten years old.  No more Word Perfect 5.1 for me!
 
There are an awful lot of Windows 95 books out there.  Which ones 
are good for a quick tutorial, which ones for a deep reference?
Are any of the free CDs which come with the books any good?
 
What do you do with all the applications which you might want someday, 
so you don't want to throw them out, but you don't want them 
occupying prime screen space, and you probably don't want them 
sucking up hard drive space?

  How about Win 95 for dummies? I learned a lot about Unix from Unix for
Dummies.

_Peter Norton's Complete Guide to Windows95_, by (who else) Peter Norton.
This book is invaluable for those who want to "get inside" Win95. Check out
Borgers, or any "chain" computer store for it.

(Yes, "Borgers" *was* a typo, but I didn't see the need to correct it.) :)
