This item is for planning grexpeditions related to the various themes in
the cooking/ kitchen conference.

Feel free to suggestion various excursions; they can include such things
as dining out,  going to the various grocery type markets/stores as well
as kitchen-related places that  sell cookware and appliances.

Ok, from another item, there seems to be an interest in checking out the
various tea  shops in the area...

So when's a good day and time?  And where all would we like to try?

[And I still want/need to check out that mexican market in Ypsi that
we've talked about  elsewhere in this conference...]

IIRC we've got two potential trips in the planning stages:  tea, and
Mexican grocery.

I also suggest that we post a summary here in this item so later folks
can see what we thought.

Ouch. Unfortunately, I work both days. How about a Friday afternoon? Or 
perhaps a Tuesday or Wednesday evening?

That could work [most of the above days/times mentioned above].  Wed.'s
I could  possibley do if its later in the afternoon or evening [evenings
only on the 1st and 3rd wed.  evenings].  Thursdays and Saturdays [for
me] could work if it was late-afternoon or  evening.

[Ok, Colleen, after I'm done rechecking these posts, I'm logging off. I
haven't eaten a  thing yet today; needless to say, I'm pretty hungry!]

I'm up for Tuesday and Wednesday evenings.

Thursday and Saturday are a bit harder.

I was only joshing, Denise.  To get two slips in just a few seconds is
something that had never happened before.

Tuesdays or Thursdays would be excellent, if we could all arrange that. 
(I'm afraid that if we make it Wednesdays, it's going to suck once 
school starts.) But...crap. Tuesday looks bad for Denise, Thursday 
looks bad for Colleen, Wednesday is great for me now, but not for long. 
<sigh>

How about  Wednesday, August 1 (this week!).

I'll miss this week, because I don't get paid until Thursday (and it's 
been a rough couple of weeks). But I'll be there for the next one?

Debbi, Tuesdays are fine with me--for the most part!

Actually, this week is bad for me all around - too many things to get 
ready for - so don't plan around me for this one. Next week is

I get out of work at 5...

Next Wed. I have to be somewhere at 7pm--and since Debbi works til 5,
maybe another  day could work?

Tuesday or Thursday could work for me, too, but I could also end up 
playing softball. Tournaments are next week, and we won't know what day 
we're playing until/unless we win tomorrow. So schedule it whenever 
works best for you, and I'll do my damnedest to be there. :-)

Let us know tomorrow when you know more about your softball schedule and
we can see  what we can work around.  :-)
