Thanks papa for another mega-easy twenty Question's round, ;) - it was fast and fun. :) And so i have gained, through no great effort on my part, the right to set the next rounds secret subject. Here goes: Q1 Animal, Vegetable, or Mineral? A1 Mineral.
32 responses total.
Q2: Is it a naturally-occurring substance?
A2: No.
Q3: Is it commonly consumed by humans?
A3: No.
Q4: Is it a machine?
If you stretch the definition of machine, then: A4 Yes.
Q5: Do human beings wear it?
A5: No!
Ok first clue: Just in case i mislead you by saying: "if you stretch the definition of machine..." It is a machine, albeit a small one, but an everyday machine we all use, in the house or office. I have a few of these, of various sizes, for doing various jobs - of a similar nature. :)
Q6: Is it attached to something larger, or is it an independent object?
A6: It 'is' an independant object.
#I'll be very surprised #if this one goes #to twenty. # :)
Q7: Is it a kind of hand tool?
A7: Yes! A good question.
It is a handtool.
Wait... is that the answer, problem solved, or do we question further?
Well your getting hot, but what type of handtool is this 'everyday' item? :) Just a few more guesses maybe, Question 8 next.
Been waiting for someone to make the next guess.
me too :)
Q8: Does this hand tool get used up, or does it last more-or-less indefinitely?
Sorry, that's not quite a yes/no question. Let it read: Q8: Does this hand tool get used up, as opposed to lasting more or less indefinitely?
A8: No! :) (this handtool normally lasts a lifetime, if looked after)
Q9: Is it a screwdriver?
A9: No. Think Kitchen and office, 'and' workshop.
Was that a shot in the dark tfurrows?
Did I do that?? :) Now I have to post a guess... even though I'm not coming up with anything so far. Q10: Does it have moving parts?
A10: Yes, it does have moving parts.
Is it scissors?
Ahhh :) In eleven questions. A11: Yes, it is scissors. I thought after papa's excellent subject, and i cannot get that shark out of my mind - an awesome animal: papa: its an - edumicational experience this twenty questions sometimes :) - i thought i would give you an easy one, something that was on the table after papa graciously let me have the last round. A pretty good shot in the dark tfurrows. And now over to you!
Congratulations, tfurrows! And good puzzle, mijk. The target doesn't have to be something obscure to be a challenge to zero-in with guesses. Looking forward to the next round.
Thank you papa. Like i said round 5's subject was just mindblowing. I learnt something that day i will not forget.
