Entered by mijk on Sun Jan 14 21:40:18 UTC 2018:

Thanks papa for another mega-easy twenty Question's round, ;) - it was fast
and fun. :)
And so i have gained, through no great effort on my part, the right to set
the next rounds secret subject. Here goes:

Q1 Animal, Vegetable, or Mineral?
A1 Mineral.

If you stretch the definition of machine, then:
A4 Yes.

A5: No!

#9 of 32 by mijk on Sun Jan 21 17:29:50 2018:

Ok first clue:
Just in case i mislead you by saying: "if you stretch the definition of
machine..." It is a machine, albeit a small one, but an everyday machine we
all use, in the house or office. I have a few of these, of various sizes, for
doing various jobs - of a similar nature. :)

Q6: Is it attached to something larger, or is it an independent object?

#11 of 32 by mijk on Mon Jan 22 10:54:56 2018:

A6: It 'is' an independant object.

#12 of 32 by mijk on Wed Jan 24 22:18:41 2018:

#I'll be very surprised
#if this one goes
#to twenty.
# :)

#13 of 32 by papa on Wed Jan 24 23:44:24 2018:

Q7: Is it a kind of hand tool?

#14 of 32 by mijk on Thu Jan 25 12:42:16 2018:

A7: Yes! A good question.

#15 of 32 by mijk on Thu Jan 25 17:16:14 2018:

It is a handtool.

#16 of 32 by tfurrows on Wed Jan 31 03:32:29 2018:

Wait... is that the answer, problem solved, or do we question further?

#17 of 32 by mijk on Wed Jan 31 07:23:14 2018:

Well your getting hot, but what type of handtool is this 'everyday' item? :)
Just a few more guesses maybe, Question 8 next.

#18 of 32 by papa on Wed Jan 31 12:16:50 2018:

Been waiting for someone to make the next guess.

#19 of 32 by mijk on Wed Jan 31 12:57:15 2018:

me too :)

#20 of 32 by tfurrows on Wed Jan 31 18:30:22 2018:

Q8: Does this hand tool get used up, or does it last more-or-less
indefinitely?

#21 of 32 by tfurrows on Wed Jan 31 18:31:56 2018:

Sorry, that's not quite a yes/no question. Let it read:
Q8: Does this hand tool get used up, as opposed to lasting more or less
indefinitely?

#22 of 32 by mijk on Wed Jan 31 22:37:02 2018:

A8: No! :)
(this handtool normally lasts a lifetime, if looked after)

#23 of 32 by papa on Thu Feb 1 05:36:44 2018:

Q9: Is it a screwdriver?

#24 of 32 by mijk on Thu Feb 1 07:26:40 2018:

A9: No.
Think Kitchen and office, 'and' workshop.

#25 of 32 by tfurrows on Thu Feb 1 15:45:12 2018:

#26 of 32 by mijk on Thu Feb 1 18:42:01 2018:

Was that a shot in the dark tfurrows?

#27 of 32 by tfurrows on Thu Feb 1 23:44:33 2018:

Did I do that?? :) Now I have to post a guess... even though I'm not coming
up with anything so far.
Q10: Does it have moving parts?

#28 of 32 by mijk on Fri Feb 2 12:47:42 2018:

A10: Yes, it does have moving parts.

#29 of 32 by tfurrows on Fri Feb 2 20:30:46 2018:

Is it scissors?

#30 of 32 by mijk on Sat Feb 3 01:12:19 2018:

Ahhh :) In eleven questions.
A11: Yes, it is scissors.
I thought after papa's excellent subject, and i cannot get that shark out of
my mind - an awesome animal: papa: its an - edumicational experience this
twenty questions sometimes :) - i thought i would give you an easy one,
something that was on the table after papa graciously let me have the last
round.
A pretty good shot in the dark tfurrows.
And now over to you!

#31 of 32 by papa on Sat Feb 3 01:47:15 2018:

Congratulations, tfurrows!

And good puzzle, mijk. The target doesn't have to be something obscure to be
a challenge to zero-in with guesses.

Looking forward to the next round.

#32 of 32 by mijk on Tue Feb 6 13:18:56 2018:

Thank you papa.
Like i said round 5's subject was just mindblowing. I learnt something that
day i will not forget.
