This is a basic Backtalk question to which I kept forgetting the answer, so I thought I'd post this item for the benefit of my future forgetful self and all Grex posterity. Q: When entering a reponse to a conference item, how do you embed a link to an earlier response? (Such links are most useful when using the web interface, but even in Fronttalk can be helpful to indicate the context of your response.) A: In your reponse text include the following string on a line by itself: "resp:<reference response number>" (Do not include the quotation marks; substitute the number of the response you are referencing in place of <reference response number>) For example, resp:47 will add a link to response #47 to your response.
1 responses total.
Also, you can link to responses in other items or conferences with strings
like:
resp:[[<conference>:[<item number>:]<response number>
You can link to a whole item with:
item:[<conference>:]<item number>
And a whole conference with:
conf:<conference>
Response not possible - You must register and login before posting.
