Are we having a problem with e-mail? I havn't recieved any e-mail in 3 days. While it's possible it's a drought on my end, I doubt it because I usually 30+ e-mail messages a day.

Meg announced in the Agora announcements that Netmeg was down. That's how we get mail in (and out).
Is the e-mail coming to Grex being saved, or is it bouncing on the senders end?
I presume it's being held at the system(s) where Meg gets it, unless they run out of disk space. I think I've seen mail with some sort of expiration heading item; that might make a difference. (That was for a mailing list.) The system it comes from is (or was until very recently & is as far as I know) typically a UM machine called destroyer. And Meg carries megabytes of mail to us every day out of the goodness of her heart, BTW; I for one really appreciate it.
Me too. I believe Meg said to me once that the default is to hold mail for 7 days. After that it will bounce. I hope this is right. I don't believe anyone's disk space is the determining factor.
I got some weird 'send-mail (#) NULL' message when I tried to send a message to Britain a few minutes ago. What does it mean? I don't remember the #, though.

Thanks to staff (Meg?) for saving my old e-mail and getting it to me. As always ya'll do a prompt and efficent job!
Thanks, meg.
Well, I don't know about the second message getting through. But the first did. Probably 'cause it was mailed 3 hours earlier.
Email problem/question here (MONTHS later). A friend gave me his loginid for Prodigy (gag, however ....) but notthe suffix after the @. Does anyone know the correct suffix for Internet email (if there is one), for XXyyZZ@?????????????? for Prodigy mail?
I don't *know* (& hope someone who does will jump in quick), but I'd suggest @prodigy.com as the most likely thing to try - if you're minded to gamble.
Query? prodigy.com any
prodigy.com
nameserver #1 is INETGATE.PRODIGY.COM
nameserver #2 is NIS.ANS.NET
nameserver #3 is NS.ANS.NET
mail exchange #1 inetgate.prodigy.com
So ... @prodigy.com will get resolved soemwhere, right?
Looks like it.
