Hi! Another question! I know I just read something about changing the default shell when you come into GREX but I didn't catch how to do this! I'm currently using PicoSpan and I'd love to change to tcsh. I've got a .cshrc file all ready.

Use the 'chsh' command (short for "change shell") -- you can run it by typing !chsh at the "Ok:" prompt. A menu of shell choices comes up; I believe tcsh is one of them. If you already have a .login and .cshrc file, you should be all set to change to tcsh. The new shell will take effect the next time you log in.
Actually, "chsh" just prompts you for a new shell. If you want a menu, try running "!change" and then choose the "change your shell" option.
Hmmm... Seems to me I've seen chsh present a menu on some other symptoms.
Thanks! I've changed my shell. I looked at both ways, chsh just tells you what your old shell was and wants you to give it a new one. Change gives you a long menu letting you change _everything_ about yourself! I liked 'change' because it listed what I could change to, even though I already knew what I was picking!
Re #3: s/symptoms/systems/ Re #4: Good interactive software expands your horizons!
I m beginner in this. Please guide me how to change lynx shell to default options. PLzzzzzzz
at your very first login prompt, type "menu". This will take you to a shell that has an easy set of menu options. For a shortcut, type "change" at that menu prompt. This takes you to a small set of options of things to change, including your shell.
