We offer free shell accounts here on grex, matzie.  Just telnet in with
your username & password (or dial in same way).

how do i telnet in to other computers

Are you referring to telnet'ing out from grex, or in to grex? 

how do i set the eggdrop up????

On Grex?  You don't.

(Eggdrop won't work on grex.  I'd guess that, over the years, more than
1000 people have tried to make it work.  Last i'd heard, not one has
managed to make it work...we suggest not wasting your time.)

A bot I think. They aren't allowed here.

(And that "aren't allowed here" is as in "won't work here", not as in "you
will be punished if caught".)

(I don't speak for staff, but one might get punished for trying eggdrop.
If an annoyed root getting "grex is really slow, please fix..." messages
from users discovered that the problem was yet another futile, resource-
hogging attempt to compile an eggdrop that worked on grex, then said root
might fix the problem with a swift kick.  Smarter & smarter-looking not
to find out.) 

(My point was that there are some people to whom "we have a rule against it"
means absolutely nothing, and that to some (vanishingly small) number of those
jerks "it won't work because we've got it blocked" means they won't bother
trying.)
