Grex Info Item 325: How do I performa a traceroute?

Using the tcsh and it doesn4t seem to be any traceroute command 
available. Anybody?

At a guess, some vandal at some point used it to harass someone or everyone,
and staff set things up so that only staff could use it.  That's what happened
to ping.

Note that Marcus gave an authoritative answer, in item #324; I merely
speculated, here.

If you really need to traceroute:

http://net.yahoo.com/cgi-bin/trace.sh

That'll let you do a traceroute form their web server.
