i would like to know if i can access the unix shell other than by telnet to cyberspace.org . it would be very convenient for me to do it via netscape. some computers here dont have telnet. i will try the telnet thing shortly , though. i want to use the shell account for unzipping files and then look at them by an editor or a "more" command if that exists here. thx for your advice.

Some services I've seen have Java telnet. Grex doesn't. You can participate in conferences (like you're doing now) through a link on the Grex web site (http://www.grex.org), though. You can put files using ftp (in fact, that's the only way you can put files).
