I am a new user here! I am not able to telnet from my Sun machine
to cyberspace.org. I am getting a connection refused message.
Can someone guide me as to what could be the reason.?

There was a problem with telnet on Monday. See the login message of
the day for more information.

Otherwise, you should be able to telnet fine today.
