Is it possible to create a link from a web page to a backtalk conference page?
For instance, I want to set up a link from my home page to the page for the
Amalgam conference - is this possible?
Does it matter if my home page is located on grex or somewhere else?

That link will give you anonymous access to the amalgam conference. 

You need to use a different link for people who have grex accounts. This may
not be what you want on your home page, but if you ever do want to provide
a link to be used for people who already have grex accounts, try
http://www.cyberspace.org/cgi-bin/pw/bt/peek:amalgam

(the difference, is that little pw)
