Grex Info Item 275: Grex from EMU????

A Student at EMU ( a frien of mine) is attempting to log onto Grex, and has
been (trying) fot 2 weeks. Does anyone know hw (or if) the University's
computers will connect to grex?
he must type "server" <address> .
he cannot dial direct.

Grex's name on the Net is either grex.cyberspace.org or cyberspace.org.  It
sounds like he would type "server cyberspace.org" (without the quotes).  I
don't know the EMU system at all, but "telnet cyberspace.org" is the command
that works most places.

If he has an account on the VMS system (such accounts can be
had on request), he can log into it and type "telnet
grex.cyberspace.org".
