Can I permit another Grexor to read my mail without making my files public?

You could always forward the other party the mail in question. What mail program do you use?
one thing you can do is to get the other grexer to create an empty file, and set it to be not readable but world writable. He would have to type !touch filename !chmod 722 filename Then you can copy the mail you want him to see into that file. Once you have done that, tell him to use !chmod 700 filename so that no one else can write there. Only the other user will have read access to that info. there may be a simpler way, but this works for me. Of course, the leading ! is not used when typing to a unix shell.
Re #0: Do you want the other party to be able to read all your mail on a continuing basis, or just certain messages that you select?
Response not possible - You must register and login before posting.
