Grex Info Item 254: Voice communication through Internet for Unix?
Entered by olek on Mon Sep 18 04:41:04 UTC 1995:

Does anyone know where I can find an Internet voice communications package
for Unix(Linux) similar to the Windows program Iphone? Thanks!

-Olek
(Iphone allows it's users to connect trough IRC and then establishes a link

that digitally encodes their voices for transmission throught the 'net.
It requires a computer to be either hardwired into the 'net or connected
throught a SLIP/PPP account.)

I don't know anything about this. Anyone else?
(no answer usually means no one knows, because when we do know, we
usually answer fairly promptly)

It seems like it would be a cool way to "do your business", but I cannot
help you. That, I regret.

Actually, I've recently found out a LOT about Internet voice communications
if anyone wants to know more about this email me. There's way too much to
write down here!
