        Mac Comm center is that a Mac BBS?  Also on an unrelated note is this
new pseudo thingy in all the conferences now?  Is it a gift from the well
people in the accordion conf?

Mac comm center is telecommm software from Smith Micro. 
It's usually given away (bundled) with cheap modems.
I got a copy with mine, but I don't use it, because
MacKermit is free and works so well.
I suppose I could break the shrinkwrap and test it out.
