HELP I am a new user to the internet and I have been using the World Wide Web and I keep getting these http://www things I would like to look up some of the things under these things but I don't know how to. I would really appriciate it if someone could tell me how to access these things. Another thing that I would like to know how to do, is to put a subject line in the Email that I send.

Well, that's two completely different questions, I'll give it
a shot...
(A) At the Ok: prompt, enter
!lynx
This will put you into our WWW browsing program. To select
your own place to go, hit the "g" command and then enter the
whole http://www... address you want. Hit "h" if you need
help with Lynx.
Oh, and don't forget, you do need to be a member to access
any non-Grex sites.
(B) Depends, what e-mail program do you use?

THANKS
Isn't Pine a real CPU hog?
Rob is correct that Lynx is the proper surfboard for websurfing, if you have only a dialup connection to your web browser. Grex's lynx is (unfortunately) unable to use the outgoing internet connection unless you are a member. I'd like to fix this, but that's another question. You may be able to connect to a public lynx client at The U. of Kansas or Michigan or Michigan State universities. These would give you access to the web, but are limited in other ways (no "G" command, no private bookmarks, other things too). If you are lucky enough to be packet-connected, you should be running the browser on your PC/Mac/Workstation. Mosaic or Netscape are in this category. They understand URLs also.
Although us Real Internet Users like to sneer at Prodigy, they're now offering a reasonably decent graphical Web browser for Windows users (maybe also Mac, but not MS-DOS or other platforms). And it doesn't take any exotic kinds of connection beyond a Prodigy account. By the way: http://www.well.com/www/bubbles/ ~p

Nifty home page, bubbles. Gave me a rush of text adventure nostalgia.
