steve and mju (and minimally, me) "did a job" on Grex's innards
over the last few days. Imo, "we" were within 1 chip's faillure of
being reverted to November 1992 - that's how serious this was!
  
Lottsa friends aided and abetted in returning Grex to its 
current state. There is still hardware to repair, but we're
up now and that is to the credit of steve and mju (not really me 
unitl the broken stuff is rapaired)
  
Any and all grateful emails ought to be sent to them.

(You might also want to thank our kids who did without Daddy since Saturday
evening.  There have been a few complaints from them, but they have taken it
better than I thought they would.)  Going to have family night tonight with
a good dinner (it's hard to shop for food when the car is gone with Daddy
and we are TIRED of pizza), a fire, stories and quality cuddle time.

I'm not grumping as I understood what was going on and wanted my GREX fix
just as much as anyone else (and would rather put up with STeve being gone
trying to fix things than have him here bitching about it).

Life is full of compromises -- ain't it the truth.  Thanks for being
a good sport, Glenda.  (I also missed my Grex fix, as did Mary.)

Thanks, Glenda.  I had thought about how this must have impacted your
weekend too.  But for STeve and Marc a huge thank you for getting our
community back together.  You guys are really something.
