I hope someone can help...i need a little advice on somethng.  When my
computer boots, it keeps giving me the error "fddfailure".  I reseated the
card 3 times, and even stuck another one in there, but no luck.  ANy ideas
on what myight be wrong?

I cant help you, but maybe you can help me. Someone suggested that i 
use the mail reader Pine. I would like to if that is possible. If it is would
someone tell me how to go about it?

Enter    pine     at a prompt. You need to be  using vt100 (or up).

It could be the fdd itself, replug the cables on it too, it cold
be the configuration of the machine too. Check that.
